What are cupcake boxes?
The difference between a good and a bad cupcake box is the insert. A die-cut card insert holds each cupcake by its liner so the frosting never smears against the walls or its neighbour, even on a bumpy car ride.
Cupcake boxes usually come in counts of 1, 2, 4, 6, 12 and 24. Box height matters as much as the footprint: tall swirls and toppers need a deeper box, while mini cupcakes need smaller insert holes rather than a smaller box.
